How I got here:

I tried for years to get into the craft of blade smithing and metalworking with very little luck finding a starting point or mentor. After too many years I decided to forge my own path and, in the process, tell my ongoing story. It was from this frustration that I decided to name my business the Forged In Ire Forge, fore when I am forging hot steel, I swing my hammer with 20 years of frustration and aggression. I invite you to follow along as I grow and learn, sharing my experiences along the way for those who are like me and want to get into the craft of blade smithing but might not be able to find a mentor or school near them. I will do my best to convey what I learn and help those that want to emerge into this craft as well. As for those who are near the Bay Area, CA I can also help them find their way to The Crucible to receive a great introduction to this craft without the burden of having to buy the equipment first.
